“No emotion, no fun” (Luciano Almeida)
At the exact moment I write this text, I do it with only one eye. It's the typical problem totally out of my scope, but in this case, I need to take action. Because if I don't, what is just conjunctivitis could force me to wear an eye patch for the rest of my life. A pirate writer? Bad luck, it doesn't matter, but here is valid the phrase of a manager I worked with, Luciano Almeida, who said, "without emotion, there's no fun".
That is, everything I had planned for the week I will not be able to accomplish while I am in the contagion period, which is from 3 to seven days. As explained by Dr. Guilherme Leite Camargo, ophthalmologist. So let's get back to what matters.

1) Breathe deeply
Tell me here, please: how many times have you managed to solve problems when you're in a hurry or with a hot head? A few times and still the resolution of the problem was mediocre. Do you agree with me?
When faced with an unforeseen event, the first thing you should do is take a few deep breaths. This will help you stay calm and clear-headed so that you can assess the situation and figure out the best course of action.
From my own experience, in these moments the worst thing to do is to act with emotion, leaving reason abandoned in some corner. When the dust settles, regret is almost certain to come. So, calm your little heart, count to 10, and if necessary move your ears and scream uuuuuussssaaaaa. Those who watched the films of the Bad Boys saga, starring actors Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, have already sought the reference.
2) Seek information
Don't roll your eyes or doubt my intelligence. Of course, I'm not generalizing, but yes, after your heartbeat has normalized it's time to collect information.
As formal as this “gathering information” may seem, it is nothing more than going after why this problem appeared, what caused it and how to solve it in the best way and with the least amount of damage possible. You chose to enter the battle that has conditions and the resolution depends on you. I hope so.
Assuming that the problem is yours, it is your responsibility to solve it. However, we know that we don't always have all the answers. So, don't be ashamed to ask, research and gather as much information as possible to clean up what was done. Read on, cleaning is not hiding under the rug, it is solving problems. In other words, this type of action will help you understand adversity better.
3) Brainstorm to solve problems
Brainstorming is a word used on a large scale in the corporate world, with creative people and related areas. But it can very well be used when adversity breaks down your door and you will have two decisions to make: do nothing or roll up your sleeves and go after solutions.
Again, we can't escape problems, but we can minimize the damage they do and cause in our lives and corporations. Either you're reactive and wait for the bomb to go off and then see what you're going to do, or you're proactive, running ahead to try to liquidate or minimize the damage (not just financial).
In other words, brainstorming is an incredibly effective way to come up with creative solutions to problems. It's important to think outside the box and come up with out-of-the-ordinary ideas.
4) Take action
Did you think you'd run away from having to get your ass out of the chair, roll up your sleeves and start sweating your shirt? Admit it, you came here expecting that dazzling trick that would save you effort and dedication. You can tell me in the comments what you've been waiting for, it's between us. I promise.
“Calm sea does not make a good sailor!”
Don't be afraid to make mistakes and don't get discouraged when things don't go your way. Just keep trying different solutions until you find the one that works.
That is, the problem is not making mistakes, because it is part of learning. The great difficulty is when you learn nothing from the mistakes made. Repeat, repeat and repeat. Write it down: life does not forgive those who cross their arms
Finally
When we are children we desire to grow up soon, to be an adult, to do what we want and when we want. Big mistake!
But if you've made it this far, first I'd like to express my thanks. Second, the strategies mentioned above are a different way of facing the adversities that life presents us with.
Last but not least, I would like to know how you viewed the troubleshooting tips. Therefore, it is in the simplest strategies that we find the solutions to the most complex obstacles. It's when you start looking outside the box that the light starts to shine on your mind. The comments section is all yours.

I agree that seeking information is the best move before taking any action. Once you have gathered all the information, sometimes you might find that doing nothing is, in fact, the best course of action. Often, problems disappear over time without any intervention and difficult people tend to make mistakes that remove them from your path.
